1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (the "Policy") is issued by SideBet Golf, LLC ("SideBet Golf," "we," "us," or "our"), applies to every person who accesses SideBet Golf, and is incorporated into the Terms of Use. You are responsible for your own conduct and for activity you authorize through your account, event, invite code, spectator link, or administrative permissions.
2. Lawful, Adult, Consensual Use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. Monetary side games, pools, auctions, Calcuttas, and settlement records may be used only by adults who knowingly agree to participate and only where the underlying arrangement is lawful. You may not involve a minor in monetary wagering features, enter a person into a side game without consent, or use the availability of a SideBet Golf feature as evidence that an arrangement is legal.
3. Prohibited Gambling And Financial Conduct
You may not use SideBet Golf to:
- Operate, advertise, or support a sportsbook, bookmaking operation, gambling business, wagering exchange, public betting marketplace, or unlawful pool.
- Solicit or accept bets from the general public or match strangers for the purpose of wagering.
- Set house odds, accept financial risk as the house, extend gambling credit, or collect gambling debts as a business.
- Charge a rake, commission, vigorish, percentage, donation, service charge, or other compensation tied to the size, volume, or outcome of wagers through the Service.
- Represent that SideBet Golf accepts bets, sponsors a wager, holds funds, guarantees payment, conducts an auction, approves an arrangement, or will enforce a settlement.
- Use SideBet Golf as escrow or instruct participants to send wager, auction, pool, or settlement funds to SideBet Golf.
- Use side-game records to conceal money laundering, fraud, tax evasion, sanctions violations, or any other unlawful financial activity.
A private ledger may display dollar amounts and calculate results. Every related payment must occur independently of SideBet Golf, without our custody, transmission, collection, or enforcement.
4. Honest Scoring And Event Administration
Do not falsify scores, handicaps, quotas, distances, drive commitments, bids, ownership shares, payments, approvals, or results. Do not manipulate settings after play to obtain an undisclosed advantage. Organizers must disclose material rules and changes, assign access responsibly, and give affected participants a reasonable opportunity to review results before external settlement.
5. Privacy And Personal Information
Use player and participant information only for legitimate event administration and consistently with the Privacy Policy. Do not scrape, sell, publish, or misuse names, email addresses, phone numbers, profile photographs, handicap identifiers, access codes, or other personal information. Do not share private spectator links, player-pool codes, exports, or screenshots beyond the audience authorized by the organizer. Exported files must be protected and deleted when no longer needed.
6. Communications And Content
Do not upload or send content that is unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, defamatory, deceptive, infringing, malicious, or intended to expose another person's private information. Do not impersonate another person or organization, send spam, use misleading tournament communications, or upload content you do not have permission to use.
7. Security And Technical Restrictions
You may not:
- Access an account, tournament, player pool, administrative area, database, or nonpublic link without authorization.
- Probe, scan, bypass, disable, or interfere with authentication, permissions, rate limits, service-worker safeguards, or other security controls.
- Introduce malware, destructive code, automated abuse, denial-of-service traffic, or excessive requests.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, harvest, copy, or automatically extract the Service or course catalog except as permitted by law or written authorization.
- Use bots or scripts to create accounts, send messages, manipulate scoring, or consume resources without written authorization.
8. Enforcement
We may remove content, restrict features, preserve relevant records, suspend accounts, terminate access, or report conduct when we reasonably believe this Policy has been violated or action is necessary to protect users, SideBet Golf, or the public. Enforcement decisions may consider severity, intent, repetition, risk, and cooperation. We may require additional information before restoring access.
9. Reporting Concerns
Report suspected misuse through the signed-in Support page or email support@sidebetgolf.app. Include the tournament, page, account, and relevant facts without forwarding unnecessary personal or financial information.
10. Policy Changes
We may update this Policy as the Service and legal requirements evolve. The effective date and version identify the current Policy. We may require renewed acceptance after a material change.
